I am certainly going through a phase of oat-based recipes but oats are so nutritious, full of fibre, protein, iron and rich in flavour. They are also cheap and versatile. Oats can be used for sweet and savoury dishes and I always recommend keeping a big supply

I have used here @thegreatbritishporridgeco and @almondbreezeuk

• 1 cup of oats
• 1 tbs nut butter
• 1 cup of frozen berries
• 1 tbs flaxseed
• 1/2 tbs chia seeds
• 1 tbs chopped mixed nuts
• 1 cup of almond milk
• 1 tbs of maple syrup/honey or mashed ripe banana
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

1 Pre heat oven 180 degrees.
2 Whisk the milk, nut butter, flaxseed, chia seeds, vanilla and honey and set aside.
3 Add the oats in a dish, along with the frozen berries and chopped nuts.
4 Pour in the milk and gently mix.
5 Bake for about 20 minutes until set.
6 Serve with yoghurt and fruit.
