Dig in – these are baked caramelised apples with a dollop of @nushfoods dairy-free yoghurt, topped off with crunchy nuts and seeds. Food doesn’t have to be fancy as long as its satisfying and yummy and makes you happy


Ingredients
• 4 large apples of your choice
• 1 orange juiced
• 1 tbs maple syrup
• Handful of mixed seeds
• Handful of chopped nuts
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cinnamon bark
• 1 pot of dairy free yoghurt or Greek yoghurt

Method

Pre-heat oven gas mark 4
2 Heat the orange juice, maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon and simmer for about 15 minutes.
3 Place the apples flat on a baking dish, pour the juice over the apples.
4 Bake in the oven until apples are cooked through about 20-30 minutes.
5 Lightly toast the seeds and nuts and sprinkle over baked apples and serve with any yoghurt of your choice.
